Bugaboo Stamps ~ Winter Wonderland

Good morning! I have some very exciting news to share. I am Bugaboo Stamps Biggest Fan for December!! How cool is that!! I was so excited when Rae Anne contacted me to let me know that I had been nominated. As a prize I was featured in the December 2010 newsletter. If you haven't signed up to receive the newsletter be sure to do so. It's a great newsletter and you won't be disappointed. I was also given the chance to be a guest designer for one of the December challenges. I chose this week's challenge, WINTER WONDERLAND, to make a card to share. I also received 5 images. I used one of my choices, Fancy Sunbonnet Winter, on my card.

I created my card in navy blue, white and pale blue. Each section of my card is pale blue that is backed in white and then backed in navy blue. I added crystal stickles to the white cardstock. It's hard to see in this photo but the strip of pale blue cardstock that both the image and the sentiment overlap is embossed using a Cuttlebug embossing folder (dots). The ribbon that I added is from Heidi Grace Designs. The ribbon needed a little pop so I added white stickles to all the white stripes on the ribbon. I finished off my card by adding five white pearls to the bottom of my card. My image is colored using crayola colored pencils
