Love

I decided to take a break from Christmas cards and make an anniversary card using KISSY KISSY from The Greeting Farm.

I created this card for Spy Day #12 at TGF's Farm Fresh Challenges.  The challenge is to create a card based on this card by Beate.....

I used an eyelet lace border punch and matching corner punch to punch all the way around the card.

For the background square I started with a black card stock square.  To it I added a square cut from pink swirl glitter card stock.  I then cut a triangle from sugar n spice card stock and added a white scallop cut piec of card stock to the inside edge.

I colored the image using crayola and prisma color pencils. I cut it in a circle and backed it in black.  I cut around the image using scallop scissors. Then added it to the center of the card.

The sentiment is hand written with black ink and cut out in a circle.  I backed it in black and then cut around it with scallop scissors.  I added it to the bottom corner. I added 2 pink mini rhinestones and 1 clear mini rhinestone just under the word love.

To the opposite bottom corner I added a black pearl swirl.  I then added a white bow just above the swirl.  I added a piece of cotton candy baker's twine to a pink button and added it to the center of the bow.

To the upper corner I added a pink rhinestone heart and a clear rhinestone heart.

I am also entering this card into the following challenges....

Christmas Mice

I created this Christmas card for the spy day challenge at TGF's Farm Fresh Challenges.  The inspiration I used from the spy day card was the sketch and twine.  The base of my card is kraft card stock.  I cut a piece of citrus teal card stock a little smaller than the card and backed it in red card stock.  I added red bakers twine across the middle of the card.  The snowflakes that I added are thin plastic snowflake ornaments that I found at the dollar store.  I colored the image, Candy Cane Snack,  using crayola and prisma colored pencils.  I backed it in red and then again in kraft.  I stamped the sentiment onto kraft card stock and backed it in red.  I made a bow out of the red bakers twine and added it to the twine across the middle. I added a red heart rhinestone to the sentiment and 3 red rhinestones to the bottom corner of the card.

A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes

I used Cake Topper Kiss digital stamp from The Greeting Farm to create this wedding/anniversary card. The sentiment I used is a freebie I grabbed a while ago from Tattered Angels. I thought it was a perfectly matched to this image. I started off the base of my card by embossing a piece of white cardstock using a cuttlebug embossing folder (dots). I then distressed the edges of it using a pastel pink chalk ink pad. I backed it in kraft cardstock and then again in dark brown cardstock. I colored the image using crayola and prisma colored pencils. I then repeated what I did on the background (with the exception of the embossing) to the image and the sentiment. I added a piece of green ribbon behind the image across the base of the card. I added this fabric flower to the middle of the card where the image and sentiment meet. The flower is actually a stemmed flower that I purchased at AC Moore a while ago. I removed the stem and all the plastic pieces so that the flower would lay flat on the card. In order to keep the flower from falling apart I added glue dots to each layer as I pieced it back together. To finish off the flower I added a pink sprinkle (from Annabelle Stamps) to the center. I also added 6mm white heart pearls (from Annabelle Stamps) to the upper corner of the card and image and to the bottom corner of the sentiment.
