Good evening! I thought I would jump on here real quick, while my hubby finishes setting up our Christmas tree for me to decorate, and share with you this Christmas card. This is card #3 of the 3 cards I made yesterday while my mom was here. I didn't get a chance to post it last night like I wanted to.
This image is called Zoe & Gemma Snow Fun from Wags 'N Whiskers. This card is for the following 5 challenges:
Crafting Life's Pieces: CLP 12 ~ Sketch
Creatalicious Challenge: Christmas with Snowflakes & Sparkle/Glitter
Wags 'N Whiskers: Traditional Christmas Colors & a Wags 'N Whiskers Stamp
Saturday Spotlight: Hats
Creative Card Crew: Christmas
Supplies: Wags 'N Whiskers Zoe & Gemma Snow Fun Stamp, EK Success Snowflake Punch, Red Gemstones & Green Gemstones
You know how back at the beginning of my post I told you I was waiting for my hubby to finish setting up the tree so I could decorate it. Well.....not only did he put the tree up, he also put the lights & garland on the tree, hung the wreath on the front door & put two holly light sets up in our living room window. What a sweetie! Now I'm off to start putting up the rest of the decorations. And maybe I'll even get a chance to sit down later and make some more cards to share tomorrow.
Have a great evening!
hugs,

Hi! I hope you all had a wonderful Tuesday. My mom and I spent the day creating Christmas cards. Then I took my kiddos to get their H1N1 flu shot. I was finally able to get them in to have it done. Our school district had a flu clinic this afternoon for the kids. My daughter hates getting shots, so she is very upset with me right now. But it needed to be done. Now if I can just get myself in to have one than we will be all set. Our Dr's office has not had any for several weeks now. I called them today and they are hoping to get some in this week. So keep your fingers crossed for me. I really need to get that shot as I am one of the "lucky" people they said needed to get the shot asap because of an underlying condition (Asthma). The last time I came down with the flu it landed me in the hospital with pnemonia. Don't wan't to go that route again! I'm still trying to get the regular flu shot too. But enough of my rambling...........onto my first card I've got to share with you tonight. (I have 3 total). The image that I used is from The Greeting Farm and is part of the Miss Anya Rain, Snow, Shine collection. I thought she would look so pretty done all up in pink. I don't know...there's just something I like about how the Christmas cards look when done with non-traditional Christmas colors.

This card was done for 3 challenges:
Little Paper Shop: Recycle It! ~ For this challenge you were to create a card using a previous LPS sketch of your choice. I chose this one that was originally posted on February 23, 2009.
Creatalicious: Create something for Christmas & add snowflakes and lots of sparkle/glitter.
Supplies: The Greeting Farm Miss Anya Rain Snow Shine Stamp Collection, EK Success Snowflake Punch, Frosted Lace Stickles, Pink Gems, Offray Simply Grossgrain Pink Ribbon, Fiskars Texture Plate Dots.
I hope you enjoyed my card. I'll be back with 2 more cards to share with you tonight. Oh yeah! Check it out! I finally figured out how to do a "fancy signature" for my blog!!
hugs,
Hi! This is my first challenge post as part of the DT for Digital-Ink Co. Today I am sharing with you 2 projects that I have made using this cute digital stamp called "Reindeer Games". This stamp was created by Stamp'en with CJ and is available for purchase at the Digital-Ink Co. Store for just $1.50.
When I saw this image for the first time I immediately thought of the song "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer". I wanted to somehow incorporate this song into my projects, so I typed the song lyrics over and over and printed it out to use as my background paper. I added glitter to the snow to get the look as if it was a bright sunny day out. You know how the sun hits the new fallen snow and it just seems to sparkle.
Here is another view of the box that I made. This was my first attempt at making a box.
Inside my box is a puzzle that I made using the digital stamp. I thought that the phrase "Reindeer Games" was perfect to add to the front of the box. I had planned to put this set under the Christmas tree for my daughter to find on Christmas morning but she discovered it earlier (poor hiding on my part) and she has been playing with it quite a bit over the past couple of days.
I wanted to share with you one of my favorite Christmas traditions that we have at our house. On Christmas eve we have a special family movie night. We pull out all the classic Christmas cartoons and sit and watch each one of them as a family before the kids head off to bed for the night. So using this image for this challenge was extra special for me because it reminded me of all those wonderful memories.
Now It's your turn to show us what you can do. Head on over to the DICo Challenge blog and get the details on how to enter this holiday challenge. There will be 3 winners

Everytime I look at this Elizabeth Bell image I think about my daughter. Every winter she loves to go out in the snow and play for an hour or two and come back in to a cup of hot cocoa. So I have to keep plenty of cocoa on hand. It is usually the first thing she asks me for when she gets off the school bus each night. Explaining to me how she played so hard outside today in the snow and they didn't have cocoa for them at school so could she pleeeaaaase have a cup of cocoa. And of course I can't deny her that cup of cocoa. So when I saw this image, called "Hug in a Mug" I knew that I had to make a Christmas card with it. In honor of my little girl.
This card is made by using 4 challenges:
Supplies: Elizabeth Bell Hug In A Mug Stamp, Offray Kendra White/Opal Ribbon, Martha Stewart Leaf Punch, Martha Stewart Snowflake Punch, EK Success Snowflake Punch, Pink Gems, Studio G Stamp (sentiment), Teal Cardstock, White Cardstock & Raspberry Cardstock.
This is the first Christmas themed thank you card that I have made. I thought it would be great to make a few thank you cards to have on hand this year for my kids to give out after opening their Christmas gifts. The image that I used is from The Greeting Farm Miss Anya Dressy stamp set. I created the poinsetta in her hair by using a small flower punch from EK Success and folding down the center of each petal and then snippin the ends into a point. I then glued 2 of them together and colored the flower that is in her hair green for the leaves of the poinsetta flower and added the poinsetta on top of it and added a red gemstone to the center.

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. I had a great time this week with my family. My kids have been off from school on Thanksgiving Vacation since Wednesday. And with my hubby home I got to sneak off to my craft area for a little while. But we spent most of the day together. On Thursday we had Thanksgiving at my parent's house. Yesterday I spent a couple hours making cards with my mom. Still haven't been able to get her to start the whole blogging thing to show off some of the cards she makes. Maybe someday. And I spent today with my kiddos. Tonight they got a chance to watch the movie Annie for the first time. My 6 year old loves musicals so she was glued to the movie. So all in all I had a wonderful Thanksgiving.I have 3 cards to show you tonight. The first one uses the Whiff of Joy Henry Mouse with Lantern stamp.

My card to share with you all this morning is a thank you card. The image that I used is called " Maid Charlotte" and was created by Alison Acton and is available from Whiff of Joy Stamps.
The sketch that I used is this weeks challenge sketch at The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge Blog.
The challenge is this sketch with a spin. The spin is that you need to add sewing to your card. This can be actual sewing or faux sewing. This is actually the second card that I have made with this sketch. The first card which can be seen here I forgot to add the stitching to and was unable to enter it into the challenge. But it is such a great sketch and I'm sure that I will use it again.
I also created this card using the challenge theme at Stamp Something Challenge Blog, which is Thank You. I need to build up my supply of thank you cards. So this card is a great start at doing just that. Supplies: Maid Charlotte Stamp by Alison Acton, Offray Kendra Ribbon ~ blue/opal, white flower, blue brad, Studio G Sentiment Stamp, Fiskars Texture Plate ~ Dots & Steel Blue and White cardstock.
I have one more card to show you tonight. I made this one for 3 challenges (origianally 4). The sketch I used is the one that was provided for this weeks Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge. But what I failed to do was the added twist to the challenge. Which was to add stitching of some kind to your project. I didn't realize this until just a few minutes ago when I was uploading it to blogger. Oh well, that will give me an excuse to use this great sketch again this week.
Now for the 3 challenges that I am entering this card into.
Creatalicious ~ Make something for Christmas & include a snowflake & sparkle/glitter

This is what the inside of this card looks like. I wanted to add a little more of the design paper that I used in the strip on the front of the card. I left the inside blank so that I can add a personal message to my card when I give it out at Christmas.
Supplies:
Image: Wags 'n Whiskers Zoe & Gemma's Snow Fun stamp
DP: Paper Pizazz Snowflakes
Buttons: Blue
Embossing: Fiskars Texture Plate Dots
Punches: MS Snowflake Punch & EK Success Snowflake Punch
Glitter: Frosted Lace Stickles
Ribbon: Offray Kendra White/Opal
CS: White & Blue
Here is my second card for you tonight. The image that I used was created by Instyle Stamps and is called Sandy. I created the background by using a snowflake stamp from Inkadinkado and stamping a random pattern onto the white card with seashell pink ink.
This card is for 4 challenges:
Creatalicious ~ Something for Christmas with a Snowflake & Sparkle/Glitter
Supplies: Instyle Stamps ~ Sandy Digital Stamp, EK Success Snowflake Punch, Martha Stewart Snowflake Punch, Gemstones ~ Pink, Offray Ribbon ~ Pink, Cotton Candy Stickles, Inkadinkado Filigree Snowman Stamp Set, Pink Cardstock & White Cardstock
Well, I'm ready to share my 2nd M&M Designz DT card with you. I spent a couple days on this one getting the lights just the way that I had pictured them in my head. It's really hard to see it in the picture but the lights have a "raised" effect. To achieve this I used a clear glaze pen and in the end had put on a total of 5 thick coats. I really wish I could get a good picture to show you what I mean. But no matter how I took the picture it just would not come out right. I wanted to keep a simple design for my card so I found design paper in my stash that had different Christmas sayings on it and used that as the background for my card. Then I simply added 3 red gems and green ribbon to dress it up just the tiniest bit.

The image that I used is called Santa Baby & Tree and was created by
M&M Designz. Judy and her mom make some really amazing digital stamps. This one is available for purchase at
Digital-Ink Co for just $2.25.
I also have some very exciting news to share with you. I am now a DT member for
Digital-Ink Co!!! The next challenge will take place on November 30th. So please stop by that day to meet the new DT and to find out what the challenge will be.
Hi! The card I have to share with you this morning is another Christmas card that I made last night. The image is a digital download from Wendy's Digital Doodling and is called "Mrs. Tilly Claus".
I made this card by combining 3 challenges.
Doodle Palace ~ Create a card/project for winter/Christmas using the color purple. Embellish with fuzzy ribbon if you have it, buttons & snowflakes.
Creatalicious ~ Make something for Christmas and include snowflakes & sparkle/glitter.
Supplies: Wendy's Digital Doodling digi image ~ Mrs. Tilly Claus, Offray Nice & Narow lavender ribbon, EK Success snowflake punch, Martha Stewart snowflake punch, frosted lace Stickles, Nicole Rhinestones ~ purple & lt. purple buttons.
Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a great Thursday! The card I have to share with you this morning uses this cute digi image from Whimsie Doodles. It is called "Peas On Earth" and is available for free for members of the Paper Craft Planet Group. So if your not already a member of this group head on over to PCP and join. There are some really great incentives for being part of the group. Here is my finished card:
This card is for 2 challenges. Creatalicious Challenges ~ Make something for Christmas & Include snowflakes and lots of sparkle/glitter.The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge ~ Sketch SSS30To create the snowflakes on my card I used 2 different snowflake punches. One from EK Success and the other from Martha Stewart. For each snowflake I punched 1 out of each color, white(MS), pink & blue (EK Success). Then stacked them on top of each other so that they are not completely overlapping each other. Then I added glitter to the finished snowflake. There is a slight difference in the two snowflakes. The difference being that pink is the top color in one and blue is the top color in the other. I finished out the snowflakes by adding either a pink or a blue gem to the center of the snowflake. The blue was added to the snowflake with the pink on top and the pink was added to the one with the blue on top. It's hard to tell in this picture but I colored blue around the inside edge of the word EARTH. Even though you can't see it in the picture you are able to see it quite well on the card itself. The original image did not have the "and goodwill toward men" on it. I added it to it for this card.
Supplies: "Peas On Earth" -Whimsie Doodle Stamps, Martha Stewart Snowflake Punch, EK Success Snowflake Punch, Frosted Lace Stickles, Nicole Rhinestones -Pink & Blue, Cardstock - White, Lt. Blue, Pink & Pale Blue, Colored Pencils.
I created this card for the challenge this week at Stamp Something Challenges. This image was created by Alison Acton for Whiff of Joy Stamps and is called "Henry Mouse with Lantern".
For the embellishments I used 2 different sized EK Success snowflake punches. The larger snowflakes are actually two snowflakes together. I then added green & red gems to the centers of each. Supplies

Punches: EK Success Snowflake punch & EK Success small Snowflake punch
Gems: Nicole Rhinestones ~ Red & Green
Ribbon: Offray Kendra ~ White/Opal & Green Satin
My youngest, Rebecca, turned 6 years old today!

We had her birthday party this past Saturday so she could invite a few friends from school.

The girls all decided to play dress up so we had a few princesses, a 50's chick and a ballerina.

This is definately not my best cake. But this is what Becca requested.
Chocolate cake with strawberry frosting and chocolate jimmies.
