Howdy!!

I created this card using this adorable cowgirl digi from Mo's Digital Pencil called Howdy.

I started with a red card base.  I added a piece of powder blue card stock backed in white and added it to the base.  I embossed a piece of white card stock and backed it in red.  I added red baker's twine across the card.  I colored the image using Spectrum Noir pens and then backed it in red.  I added the image to the card using pop dots.  I colored a white paper flower using Spectrum Noir's TB1 pen and added it to a red paper flower.  I added a white pearl in the center of the flower.  I punched 3 stars out of red card stock and added them to the embossed piece.  I added 3 white pearls to the top corner and 3 more to the bottom corner.

1-2-3 Challenge @ 2 Sisters

It's challenge day over at 2 Sisters. This week's challenge is to create a card/project using the theme of 1-2-3.  The items can be anything as long as you have 1 of something, 2 of something else and 3 of another item.  Our sponsor this week is The Crafting Boutique.

For my card I used 1 image, 2 flowers and 3 butterflies.  The image I used is Bye Bye from Mo's Digital Pencil.


I created the base of the card in pastel blue and added a piece of pastel blue backed in white.  Then I embossed a piece of white card stock and backed it in pastel blue and then again in white.  I colored the image using Spectrum Noir pens and backed it in pastel blue and then again in white.  I punched butterflies from pastel pink card stock. I added 3 light blue rhinestones and star dust stickles to the butterflies.  I colored 2 white paper flowers using Spectrum Noirs PP1 pen and added a blue twinkle goosebumps to the center of each one.  I added 3 light blue rhinestones to the image, 3 more to the piece of embossed paper and 3 pink twinkle goosebumps to the upper corner of the card.

Graduation

This year my niece will be graduating from high school. I created this card for her using Sassy Cheryl's Frantic Girl Graduate digi.  Her school colors are purple and white.

I started with a dark purple card base and added a piece of purple card stock cut just slightly smaller to it. I colored the image using Spectrum Noir pens and backed it in dark purple.  I added 3 white with purple edge paper flowers to the bottom corner of the image and added a white pearl to the center of each one. I punched 3 butterflies out of pastel purple card stock. I added 3 white pearls to the center of each one and added crystal stickles to the wings.  I stamped the sentiment onto the image and added 3 more white pearls to the top corner of the card.

Just 4 You

I created this just for you card using Thanks from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I Started with a blue card base. I added a piece of green card stock backed in white.  I cut 2 pieces of striped patterned paper and 2 pieces of green dotted patterned paper all the same size.  I backed them all in blue card stock and then again in white and alternated them around the card.  I colored the image using Spectrum Noir pens and cut it out in a circle.  I backed it in blue, then in white and then cut it out again with scallop scissors. I colored a white paper flower using Spectrum Noirs TB3 pen and added a white pearl to the center.  I stamped the sentiment "just for you" in the bottom corner.

Summer Flower Tilda in Pink

I created this card using Magnolia's Summer Flower Tilda.  I started with a dark pink card base. I added a piece of pink flower patterned paper backed in white. I colored the image using Spectrum Noir pens and backed it in dark pink card stock.  I colored a white paper flower using Spectrum Noir's PP1 pen and layered it with two additional white paper flowers.  I added a pink rhinestone in the center.  I punched 3 white butterflies and added mini pink rhinestones and crystal stickles to them. To finish the card I added 3 pink rhinestones to the upper corner and crystal stickles to her wings.

Queenie and Princess

The image I used is Queenie and Princess from Saturated Canary. The image and other pieces are backed in violet vellum. I also punched the butterflies out of the violet vellum.  I colored 2 of the white paper flowers using Spectrum Noir's LV1 and LV2 pens.  I added star dust stickles to the image.

Tilda With Bike

I created this birthday card using Tilda With Bike from Magnolia Stamps. I started with a light gray card base. I cut a piece of spring breeze card stock slightly smaller and punched one edge using an eyelet lace border punch.  I added a piece of light blue cardstock and a piece of white embossed card stock.  I added a piece of green ribbon to the bottom. I colored a white paper flower using Spectrum Noir's TB1 pen and added a snowflake pearl to the center.  I also added 2 branches, cut out of light gray card stock, to the flower.  I colored the image using Spectrum Noir pens and backed it in spring breeze card stock.  I punched 3 butterflies. 1 out of light blue, 1 out of light gray and 1 out of spring breeze.  I added snowflake pearls to the center of each butterfly.  I cut a heart out of spring breeze card stock and backed it in light gray and cut it out again.  I stamped the sentiment "Happy Birthday" to the center of the heart.  I added star dust stickles to the butterflies and to the branches.  I added white opal liquid pearls to the center of the butterfly on the sentiment.

Kitchen Knight

I created this birthday card for a friend at church who is celebrating his birthday today. This image reminded me so much of him. For as long as I can remember, every Halloween he dresses up as a knight. So I just knew that I needed to create his birthday card using it. The image is Kitchen Knight from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Red Hat Bear

This week's challenge at 2 Sisters is to create a card/project using an image with a hat. Our sponsor this week is Robyn's Fetish. The image I used is called Red Hat Bear.


I started with a blue card base and added a piece of white embossed card stock.  I added a smaller piece of blue card stock and added a blue dotted ribbon across the middle of it.  I colored the image using Spectrum Noir pens. I backed the image in blue card stock and then again in white. I layered a blue paper flower onto a white paper flower and added a snowflake pearl to the center. I also added 3 snowflake pearls to the upper corner of the image.  I added white opal liquid pearls to the necklace on the image.

Tilda with Bike

I created this birthday card using Magnolia's Tild With Bike. 


I started with a square kraft card base.  I added a piece of pink card stock cut slightly smaller than the base.  I embossed a piece of white card stock using a dot embossing folder, backed it in kraft card stock and added it to the right side.  I cut a strip of pink and green striped patterned paper and backed it in kraft card stock.  I punched one edge of the kraft using an eyelet lace border punch. I added a green ribbon and added it to the left side.  I colored the image using Spectrum Noir pens. I backed both the image and the sentiment in pink and then in kraft card stock. I colored 3 white paper flowers using Spectrum Noir PP1 and PP3 pens. I layered them and added a snowflake pearl to the center.  I punched 3 butterflies. 1 pink, 1 kraft and 1 white.  I added grass green rhinestones to the white and pink butterflies and pretty in pink rhinestones to the kraft butterfly. I added the white butterfly onto the flowers and the pink and kraft butterflies in the upper corner of the image.  I added star dust stickles to the buttefly wings.  I added 3 grass green rhinestones to the bottom corner and 3 pretty in pink rhinestones to the top of the ribbon. I also added star dust stickles to the center of the butterfly on the sentiment.

Toby Tumble Tea Time

I created this birthday card using Toby Tumble Tea Time from Pachela Studios at Cuddly Buddly.

The sketch I used is from this week's challenge at Sketch n Stash. I started with a blue surf square card base and added a piece of white card stock cut just slightly smaller than the base.  I cut 2 squares out of light blue dotted patterned paper and 2 squares of vibrant blue card stock. I colored the image using Spectrum Noir pens. I backed both the image and the sentiment in blue surf card stock and then again in white card stock. I layered 3 white paper flowers.  I colored one of them using a Spectrum Noir TB2 pen and added an out to sea rhinestone to the center.  I added swirls coming out from under the flower and in the opposite top corner around the image using white liquid pearls.  I also added 3 "pearls" at the bottom using white liquid pearls.

I embossed a second piece of white card stock and backed it in aqua. I colored the image using Spectrum Noir pens and added it to the smaller embossed piece.  I colored 3 white pearls using a Spectrum Noir BT5 pen and added them to the bottom corner of the card.

Izzy's Flower Wagon

I created this spring birthday card using Izzy's Flower Wagon from Di's Digi Downloads.  I started with a white card base and inked all the edges using a pastel pink chalk ink pad. I cut and embossed two pieces of white card stock using a dot embossing folder from Cuttlebug.  I inked the edges of both using the pastel pink chalk ink pad and backed them in pink card stock.  I added a pink ribbon to the smaller piece.  I colored the image using Spectrum Noir pens.  I inked the edges of both the image and the sentiment with the pastel pink chalk ink pad and backed them both in pink card stock.  I added two pink glitter buttons below the image and a bow made from the ribbon to the top of the ribbon. I punched two butterflies out of white card stock and added pink rhinestones and crystal stickles and then added them to the bottom of the ribbon. I also added a line of crystal stickles to the center of the butterfly on the sentiment.

Summer Flower Tilda

I created this birthday card using Magnolia's Summer Flower Tilda.


I started with a evening surf blue card base.  I added a piece of light blue dotted paper cut just a little smaller than the base.  I added a white lace paper doily. I colored the image using Spectrum Noir pens and backed it in evening surf card stock.  To create the flower I started with 2 large white paper flowers, 1 medium white paper flower and 1 small white paper flower. I colored the medium and small flower using Spectrum Noir pens. I layered the 4 flowers and added a snowflake pearl to the center.  I punched 3 butterflies out of evening surf card stock and added 3 small snowflake pearls to the center of each one.  I stamped the sentiment using light blue ink and backed it in evening surf card stock. I added white opal liquid pearls  to the butterfly on the sentiment, around the image and to the center of the flower.  I added crystal stickles to the wings.

Basket Of Bunnies

I created this Easter card using basket of bunnies from Karen's Doodles. I started with an aqua card base. I embossed a piece of white card stock using a flower embossing folder and then backed it in aqua and then again in white. 

I colored the image using Spectrum Noir pens and then cut it out in an oval. I backed the image and the sentiment in aqua card stock.  I cut around the image using scallop scissors and added white opal liquid pearls to each scallop.

Easter/Spring at 2 Sisters

This week at Two Sisters the challenge theme is Easter/Spring and we are sponsored by The Crafting Boutique.  This week I created a tag using Mushroom Mouse from this week's sponsor. 

To create my tag I started by cutting a tag out of pink card stock. I added a piece of  pink plaid patterned paper to the bottom and a pink dotted ribbon across the middle where the two papers meet.
I colored the image using Spectrum Noir pens and backed it in pink card stock and then again in white card stock.  I used 3 different sized white paper flowers and colored the two smaller flowers using Spectrum Noir pens and added a pink twinkle goosebump to the center of the flowers.  I added 3 pink rhinestones to the corner of the image and finished it off by adding a piece of ribbon to the top of the tag.
