Let It Snow

Hi everyone! Here is a winter themed card that I made tonight. Sorry about the picture being so dark. I forgot to charge the battery in my camera and had to borrow my son's and I couldn't seem to get enough light for the picture. The image that I used is "Hug in a Mug" by Elizabeth Bell. It's hard to tell because of the lighting but the gem inside the snowflake is a light blue heart and the gems on the ribbon are light blue round gemstones.

I created this card using the following challenges:

Double Dutch: Baby It's Cold Outside

Color Create: Sof Blue, Soft Pink, White & Silver

Sweet Stampin' Challenge: Sketch

Its A Boy!

This card uses The Greeting Farms Toby Cub digital stamp. I wanted to use mostly blue (as this is a baby boy card) and add in just a touch of other colors. I did this by using just a small piece of a patterned paper from a DCWV matstack. Then to give it a soft touch I added white pearls to the punched flowers and to the bottom left corner of the card. This card is for the following 3 challenges:

Sketch & Stash: Sketch & use a new element (image~just received from TGF, Cardstock ~ just purchased last week, Pearls ~ just received from a challenge win, & Patterned Paper ~ my sister gave me a sheet to use on this card)

A Christmas Card

Good evening everyone! I can't believe that I almost missed the ABC Christmas Challenge!!! Yep tonight's the last night you can enter for this week. The theme is Bells & Glitter. I had my dates messed up and thought that I had already missed entering a card into this weeks challenge. But then this morning I was blog hopping and realized that I hadn't missed it after all. So I spent the last couple of hours working on this card to enter. WHEW!!! That was close!!! Anyway my card uses one of my newer stamps that I just received from a challenge that I had won. This is Belles 'n Whistles "Rockin' Around" stamp by Elizabeth Bell. If you're looking for the bell on my project it is actually in the image around the rocking horse's neck. I added glitter to her red shirt, hairbow, bell and around the sentiment. This card is actually for 2 challenges:

So I decided to do a non traditional Christmas card and focus on the color PINK! I added glitter to all the white on her clothing, the heart on her pants, her wings and to the snowflakes.

I created this card using the following 3 challenges:

For my next card I used this Anya stamp from The Greeting Farm's Miss Anya Collection stamp set. The challenge at Anyone for Anya was a color challenge using the colors black & white plus one color of your choice. So I chose to use turquoise as my color. I used the sketch #16 from Crafting Life's Pieces. And to give it a little bling I added 3 blue gemstones to the top right corner. My sentiment is from Fiskars Birthday Clear Stamp Set.

Think Spring

Whiff of Joy Challenge blog is looking to fill some full time DT spots! So this is my entry into that challenge. I used Whiff of Joy's (Alison Acton) stamp, "Maid Charlotte". For this weeks challenge they gave you 2 recipes and you could choose which one you used. I chose to use recipe #1 which was: 4 patterned papers, 3 bling and 2 flowers. The patterned paper that I chose to use was the floral & plaid that was from DCWV Nursery Baby Boy Stack, Bluesy Shadow wash (which is my background paper) from Paper Adventures and Pink Salt from Paper Pizzaz. For my flowers I used a light purple paper flower and a white fabric flower. The bling is the 3 purple gemstones at the bottom of my card and also the gemstone brad in the center of my flowers.
In addition to the Whiff of Joy challenge my card is also for the following challenges:
Card Recipe: Whiff of Joy (Alison Acton) Maid Charlotte Stamp, Studio G Series 41 Stamp Set (sentiment), Purple Gemstone Brad, Nicole Crafts Purple Gemstones, DCWV Nursery Baby Boy Paper Stack ~ Blue Plaid, DCWV Nursery Baby Boy Paper Stack ~ Blue Floral, Lavender Cardstock, Paper Adventures Patterned Paper ~ Bluesy Shadow Wash, Paper Pizazz Patterned Paper ~ Pink Salt, White Cardstock, White Fabric Flower & Light Purple Paper Flower

Let's Celebrate

Hi. I'm back with another card to share. The image that I used is a Victoria Case stamp called Milla. I just recieved this stamp the other day and couldn't wait to use it on a card. It's hard to tell because the white of the card in the picture makes it look like there is a bigger border on the right side of the top of my card. But it is actually where the card is open and you are seeing some of the white from the inside of the card. I didn't notice this until just now.

I used the following 6 challenges to create this card:

Incy Wincy: Color Me Wonderful

Paper Sundaes: Sketch

Papertake Weekly: Pretty Pink Papertake

Creative Card Crew: Punch it

Simon Says: Punch it

Card Recipe: Victoria Case for SCACD Milla Stamp, Fiskars Birthday Clear Stamp Set (sentiment), White Pearls, Gemstones the Crown Jewels of Cardstock ~ Pink Gem Diamond, Martha Stewart Doily Lace Edge Punch & Pink Craft Ribbon from Walmart.
