2 Sisters ~ Anything Goes

The challenge this week at 2 Sisters is ANYTHING GOES. This week Stacy (our co-coordinator) is sponsoring this week's challenge.  Stacy is in the process of opening a online shop, The Crafting Boutique.  The grand opening will be at the end of August.  The winner of this week's challenge will receive the two digi images that the design team used this week.

Here is my card:

Wish Upon A Star Baby Boy

I created this circle card for the it's all about circles challenge at Sassy Cheryl's and the shaped cards challenge at Top Tip Tuesday.  The image I used is called Special Stork Delivery Boy.  The base of my card is a pre-cut circle card.  I cut a circle out of black iris (dark blue) cardstock the same size as the card and backed it in white cardstock. I cut around the white cardstock using scalloped scissors.and then added it to the card base.  I cut a piece of baby boy patterned paper to fit the bottom half of the card.  I colored the image using crayola and prisma colored pencils and cut it out in a smaller circle.  I backed the image in primary blue cardstock and cut around it using scalloped scissors.  I added the image to the upper part of the card.  I punched 3 stars out of primary blue cardstock. I added them around the image and added stardust stickles.  I stamped the sentiment using navy blue ink, cut around it, added it to the lower part of the card and then added stardust stickles to the letters.

I am also entering this card into the following challenges:

I added a red ribbon and bow to it and added it across the middle.  I colore the image using crayola and prisma colored pencils.  I backed the image in red and white cardstock.  I added the image and sentiment to the card and added Christmas red sticles on the image and around the sentiment.

Faithfully Yours Word Art Weds ~ Proverbs 17:17

It's time for another Word Art Wednesday at Faithfully Yours.  This week I used the Proverbs 17:17 wordart... "A friend loves at all times".  The base of my card is black flourish patterned cardstock backed in white and then again in blue calypso.  I added a white satin ribbon across the middle and cut a piece of brandy wine cardstock and backed it in white and added it to the center of the card.  I cut the wordart in an oval. I backed it in blue calypso and cut it out with scalloped scissors and then backed it in white and cut it out again around the scallops.  I added a white feather to the upper right corner of the wordart along with a bow made out of the white satin ribbon.
I punched 2 butterflies out of blue calypso and added them to the wordart.  I added turquoise glitter glue and white pearls to each of the butterflies.  Then I added 3 pearls to the upper right corner of the card.

You can purchase this wordart by visiting the Faithfully Yours Shop.
