With Love At Christmas

I made this card and treat box set using Magnolia's Snowy Hug.



I created this card using the sketch at Truly Scrumptious. The card base is navy blue. I added pale blue backed in white and added crystal stickles to the white. I then added a block of white embossed using a cuttlebug embossing folder (dots) and backed it in navy blue. I backed the image in navy blue. The ribbon is a sheer white with light blue and navy blue dots. I typed the sentiment on my computer and punched it out using a 1 3/8" circle punch. Then backed it in pale blue, backed in white and then backed in navy blue. I added crystal stickles to the white and added 3 blue gemstones to the bottom of the sentimet. The sentiment is "With love at Christmas". I added blue gemstones to the buttons on the snowman and to the top right corner of the card. I also added crystal stickles to the image.

I created the treat box using the tutorial for Maria's Treat Box which can be found here at Splitcoast Stampers. I created the base of the treat box in pale blue. I added a piece of white cardstock embossed using the dots cuttlebug embossing folder and backed it in navy blue. Then added it to the back portion of the box. I did the same thing for the strip around the bottom portion of the box. I backed a white doily in navy blue and cut out around the doily. I typed the sentiment on my computer. Punched it out using the 1 3/8" circle punch and backed it in pale blue and then again in white. Then I punched out a 2" scalloped circle out of navy blue and added the sentiment to it. The sentiment is " May this Christmas be as Special as you are". I added it to the heart. Then added a bow (using the same ribbon that is on my card) to the top of the sentiment. I added crystal stickles to the white around the sentiment. I colored the same image I used on my card and cut it out, added it to the bottom portion of the box and then added crystal stickles and blue gemstones for the buttons on the snowman. To finish off the box I punched snowflakes out of navy blue and a smaller snowflake out of white. I added them together and put a blue gemstone in the center of each. I added on to the top right corner of the top portion, one to the upper left corner of the bottom portion, and one to either side of the treat box.
