Gorjuss Birthday Card

Hi. I have a couple birthday cards to share with you tonight. The first one uses this Gorjuss Girl stamp from Sugar Nellie called Flower Girl. I created my flowers by using an EK Success Daisy Punch and an EK Success Tiny Daisy Punch. I punched 2 aqua daisies, 1 tiny aqua daisy and 3 tiny white daisies. I created 2 of the flowers by taking one white tiny daisy and atatching it to the top of the aqua daisy. Then finished it off by placing a clear gemstone in the middle of it. For the 3rd daisy I did the same thing but I made it smaller by using 2 of the tiny daisies. My background is embossed using a Fiskars Texture Plate (Dots).

This week's challenge at Stampin For The Weekend was to create a card/project based on your favorite book. My book is Anne of Green Gables. Doesn't Tilda look just like Anne would with the red hair? This was my first attempt at coloring red hair. The challenge at Dutch Dare is to create an easel card with something repeating in it. My "repeat" is the 3 flowers on the front and the 3 flowers on the inside, the repeating of lace on the inside, the two butterflies and the line of 3 blue gemstones on the front of the card and the line of 3 blue gemstones on the inside. The challenge at Pile It On is make it sweet. The Magnolia image that I used is so adorably sweet and it is called Sweet Tilda.

Daisy Doodles Challenge Day ~ Anything But A Card

Good morning! It's challenge day at Daisy Doodles. Today's challenge theme is

ANYTHING BUT A CARD
For my project I chose to make this 8 drawer box. And finished it off using Daisy Doodles Dragonfly.
This is my second attempt at making a box. (You can see my first on here.) I'm still trying to get the hang of it. I found the tutorial for this at KL Stampin n Scrappin. The Tutorial shows you how to create a 4 drawer box. But it's easy enough to add as many layers on as you would like to. So I decided that instead of a 4 drawer box with an easel card on the top. I would create an 8 drawer box with a flat top and finished it off with a couple paper flowers and dragonflies.
Well, now it's your turn. Show us what you can make using this week's theme. Head on over to Daisy Doodles Creative Challenges to find out more about this challenge.

Looking for some new images? Jules has just added some really cute images into her store at Scrappetizing. The Dragonfly image that I used on my project this week is just $1! You definately can't beat that!!!

Don't forget to check out all the DT blogs this week. The projects we have to show you are gonna nock your socks off!!

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
