I made this card for a little girl at our church who will be turning 2 next month. I used Love At First Sight from Karen's Doodles. I punched along the bottom of the white strip (it's hard to tell in this picture) using my Martha Stewart lace heart border punch.

A Boy Is. . . .

I made this card today using Summertime Boy Baseball from Karen's Doodles. How perfect is this image for a summertime card!! A boy dirty from playing baseball with of course that must needed frog in his pocket. I even found a great poem online that works so perfectly with this image. It says:

A Boy is....
Trust with dirt on it's face,
Beauty with a cut on it's finger,
Wisdom with bubble gum in it's hair,
and the hope of the future
with a frog in it's pocket.

Strawberries & Cream Christmas

I made this card using a new stamp that I won and got in the mail the other day. This stamp is from CC Designs Swiss Pixies stamp line and is called Heidi With Ornament.
This week there are 3 challenges that have the challenge theme of strawberries & cream. Winter Wonderland, Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge, and Truly Scrumptious which also has a sketch this week too. All Sorts and The Crafty Pad both challenge us to use embossing and the challenge at Oh Alice is to add twinkling, glittery or sparkly elements. I added glitter to her wings.

Birthday Card For A 12 Year Old

This is the card that I made for my son's 12th birthday. Thomas' birthday was actually yesterday but we will be having a party for him on Saturday. I used Max from The Greeting Farm because he is into video games big time. I made this card for 2 challenges. Charisma Cardz is for the boys and Die Cut Dreams is green and blue for a teenage boy. Well, he's not quite a teenager yet. But he's close enough.

Card For Bella

This is a card that I made for a special little girl, Bella Tucker. Bella is a girl from New Hampshire who sadly came down with a near fatal infection and lost her arms and legs. You can read more about Bella's story at bellatucker.org.

I used the image Bye Bye from Mo's Digital Pencil to create this card for Bella. It's hard to tell in this photo but the white strip down the center of my card is dry embossed using a Fiskars texture plate (dots).
