Three's A Charm Blog Hop

Good Morning! I hope you have been enjoying the hop so far. If you just came from Jen's blog than you are in the right place. But if you're just joining in please go to Sew Many Challenges to join in from the beginning. You definitely don't want to miss anything along the way. We are so excited as this is an extra special blog hop. We are joined this month by 2 stamp companies....

&

During this blog hop we will be showcasing some of the older SMC images. For my card I used Morty Heart. This is one of my favorite SMC images! Morty's so cute standing there with the dripping sign that says it all. What a perfect image for Valentines Day, an Anniversary or even just to say "I LOVE YOU". Here is my card:

I know that this is a longer blog hop than usual so I'm gonna send you onto Maria's blog. I know you're gonna love the card Maria created.

But before you go I wanted to say that I used the challenge at Just A Little Something to create my card. The challenge was to use the provided sketch and to use at least 3 techniques off the list. I chose stitching, text printed paper and bling.

Thanks for taking a peak at my card.

A Father's Day Card

I made this Father's Day card today using this cute image from Karen's Doodles called What A Catch. Yesterday I found out that I was the second place winner at Karen's Doodles United States Challenge. My prize was 2 digital stamps of my choice from Karen's Doodles. This was one of my choices. Perfect for Father's Day don't you think? I'll be back tomorrow to show you my other pick.

I punched the star border using a punch that I just purchase a few weeks ago. Called Starry Night and is from EK Success. Then I backed the blue cardtock in white cardstock. To continue the stars onto the top of my card I used the border punch to punch out a few stars out of indigo cardstock. I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Dare U 2 Digi Stamp: One For The Boys

Papertake Weekly: Sketch

Tuesday Taggers: It's A Man's World

Creative Cottage: One For The Boys

I had also created this for the challenge at Karen's Doodles United Kingdom but I missed getting it posted in time!!!!

Doodle Palace Gues Designer Card

Hi everyone! Hope your Tuesday is as gorgeous as mine is turing out to be. Right now it is 79 degrees out and nice and sunny. By noon temps are suppose to get into the low 90's!

A few weeks ago I won the challenge at Doodle Palace. What did I win? Well I won a couple of their absolutely adorable images (my choice) and a chance to be the guest designer this week!!! This means that I was given the chance to come up with this weeks challenge!! It was so much fun to do. So what fun and interesting challenge did I come up with you ask? Well.....this week's challenge is to create a birthday card. But there's a little twist on it. You must use the colors of your country's flag.

Here's my card:

I made this for a friend a few weeks ago who was celebrating her 35th birthday. She is a big Red Sox fan so I thought this would be a perfect card for my challenge card. Since RED, WHITE & BLUE are also the colors worn by the Red Sox.

So why not make a birthday card with the colors of your country's flag and enter it into this week's challenge at Doodle Palace.

I'm A Princess Card & Bookmark

Here is a card and bookmark that I made today. It's kinda a big bookmark right? I didn't mean for it to be so big. And I didn't really realize just how big it was until I placed it next to my card. But hey it's still a bookmark. Not a traditional bookmark. But still a bookmark. I love this saying. I so want to get my daughter a tshirt with this on it. But hey maybe she will settle for a bookmark for her Bible for right now.
I stamped Curtsy Princess Tilda, colored her with colored pencils and cut her completely out. Then Printed out the saying on my computer. I stamped the background using a Studio G swirl stamp. I added a little glitter to Tilda's shoes and tiara. The punch that I used is Martha Stewart's Doily Lace Edge Punch. Added some pink ribbon and finished it off with white pearls.
Then I repeated some of the elements onto my card. I stamped the light pink strip of cardstock with the swirl stamp. Carried over the ribbon, punch, white pearls and glitter. This time I cut the image with an oval mat around it using a Fiskars oval template. Added in a few light pink paper daisies from Oriental Trading Company. I added a pink pearl into the center of each flower.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Daisy Doodles Challenge ~ Anything Goes

Good morning everyone! Today is challenge day at Daisy Doodles Creative Challenges. Our challenge will run for 2 weeks and the theme is:

ANYTHING GOES
That simply means that you can create any kind of project, using any colors, for any occasion. The only stipulation is that you must use a digital stamp. It doesn't have to be a Daisy Doodles stamp. Even though we would love to see what you can do with Daisy Doodles images. But it's not mandatory for it to be Daisy Doodles just as long as it is a digital stamp.
The image that I used for my card is Flower Vase and can be purchased at Scrappetizing for just $1!! You can't beat that price!! If you haven't been to check out Jules images you're missing out. They are absolutely GORGEOUS!!
Here's my card. I wanted to keep it simple and cheerful. So I used bright colors on my image. But then carried some of those colors into the card itself but kept it from being too overwhelming by breaking it up with white cardstock.

So now it's your turn. Show us what you can do with the new challenge theme. I can't wait to see what you all come up with. Be sure to check out the other Daisy Doodles DT creations. You're gonna love what they came up with.

hugs,
