Easel Card For Mother's Day

This week's challenge at Stampin For The Weekend was to create a card/project based on your favorite book. My book is Anne of Green Gables. Doesn't Tilda look just like Anne would with the red hair? This was my first attempt at coloring red hair. The challenge at Dutch Dare is to create an easel card with something repeating in it. My "repeat" is the 3 flowers on the front and the 3 flowers on the inside, the repeating of lace on the inside, the two butterflies and the line of 3 blue gemstones on the front of the card and the line of 3 blue gemstones on the inside. The challenge at Pile It On is make it sweet. The Magnolia image that I used is so adorably sweet and it is called Sweet Tilda.

I created this card for the following challenges:

Paper Play: No Patterned Paper

Color Throwdown: Color Challenge ~ Bordering Blue, Almost Amethyst & Sage Shadow

Stampin Sisters In Christ: Mother's Day

Penny's Challenge: Anything Goes

One Stitch At A Time: Flowers

Dutch Dare: Easel Card & Repeat Something

Stampin For The Weekend: Getting To Know You (Inspiration From Your Favorite Book)

Just Magnolia: Anything Goes

Bizzy Becs Creatalicious: Flowers & Wings

Simon Says: Things With Wings

All Sorts: Photo Inspiration (Butterflies)

Create 4 Fun: Sketch

Pile it on: Make It Sweet

Stamp Scrap & Doodle: Girlie Project

Card Recipe:
Image: Magnolia Sweet Tilda Stamp
Paper: DCWV Mariposa Cardstock Stack ~ Green, DCWV Linen Closet Cardstock Stack ~ Glitter Blue, DCWV Linen Closet Cardstock Stack ~ Blue Cardstock, Purple Cardstock, White Cardstock
Embellishments: Oriental Trading Company Paper Daisies ~ White, Nicole Crafts Blue Gemstones
Tools: Martha Stewart Doily Lace Edge Punch, Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch, EK Success Rock Fern Punch
Other: Crayola Colored Pencils, EK Success Colored Pencils
