Bye Bye Birthday

Hi all.... I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend.  Mine was a little less productive than planned but that was due to our entire house coming down with the flu. But thankfully we are all feeling much better today and I was finally able to get a little crafting in.

I created this birthday card using this adorable digital stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil called Bye Bye. I started with a red card base. I cut a piece of turquoise card stock, backed it in white and added it to the card base.  I cut a strip of striped patterned paper, backed it in red card stock and then again in white card stock. I added that to the bottom of my card. I embossed a piece of white card stock using a Cuttlebug embossing folder (dots) and backed it in red card stock.  I colored the image using Spectrum Noir pens.  I stamped the sentiment out onto white card stock and backed both the sentiment and the image in red card stock.  I finished the card by adding red jellies to the corners of the card and image.

   

The current challenge at Polkadoodles is a case it challenge.  I choose to case a card from Week 10 Digi Queens inspiration post. I chose to use the sketch from this gorgeous card (below) created by Pami.
