Max

I got a chance to make a couple cards today.  The first card is a birthday card I made for my cousin who turned 12 on New Years Day.  I used this week's sketch from Sketchy Colors Challenge.  I ended up flipping the sketch on it's side.

Some of the challenges that I have listed below call for something new in the challenge.  I chose to use a "new stash" item for my "new".  For Christmas my parents bought me a Cuttlebug machine!! This is my very first time using it.  Any embossing I had done in the past was with my Sizzix machine. Which wasn't too bad but let me tell you a Cuttlebug is so much more quicker than using the Sizzix, not to mention so much more fun.  And since I only ever used my Sizzix machine to emboss I gave my mom my Sizzix machine.  I can't wait til Saturday when I'll have a chance to play around with it again while my hubby is at work.

Here's my finished card.

The image I used is Max from The Greeting Farm.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
