A Halloween Card

I made this halloween card for 3 challenges. Inktegrity, Paper Play Challenges and Creative Card Crew.

The Inktegrity challenge. The challenge was to use an Inktegrity image, mix in sprinkles & stir in dots.

The Paper Play challenge was to use spots.

The Creative Card crew challenge was "all that sparkles".

The candy corn image below is available as a free download right now on the Inketgrity blog. I colored it with LePlume markers. (I didn't notice that I had colored the candy corn wrong until I was adding the image onto my card.) Then I added frosted lace stickles to the image. I dry embossed the orange paper to achieve the spots and added a piece of yellow ribbon to soften the line between the black and the orange paper. I used a Studio G stamp for the sentiment.

Here is my finished card:

Great card, Mary. Really strong and clean lines. I love that embossed spotty background.

Thanks for joining us on PaperPlay this week.

I love that you put the "dots" as an embossed background. Very clever and pretty!

Oh Mary this is adorable! I love the use of your dots as the subtle background. Wonderful color combo, it goes so well with the candy corn. Your color contrast is perfect, thank you for joining us at Inktegrity! (And make sure you visit on Sunday for a free image. :D)
Your kids are adorable, by the way. ;)
