Kisses

I created this card for a couple in our church who will be celebrating their wedding anniversary on the 21st.  The image I used is called Kisses and is from The Paper Shelter.  The sketch I used is from this month's challenge at CLP Challenges.

I started with a 5 x 5 card base of aqua.  I added a piece of hawaiian orchid card stock just a little smaller than the card base. I added a strip of distressed orchid patterned paper to the bottom.  I cut a square out of aqua and added it to one side of the card.  I cut a strip of distressed aqua dotted patterned paper.  I punched a piece of white card stock using an eyelet lace border punch and added it to the back of the dotted paper.  I colored the image using crayola and prisma colored pencils.  I backed it in hawaiian orchid and then again in the distressed orchid patterned paper.  I cut 3 triangles out of white card stock and backed them in the distressed orchid patterned paper.  I stamped the letters L U V onto them and added them as a banner at the top corner.  I added white pearls to the upper corner and opposite bottom corner.  I also added 2 aqua paper roses to the corner of the image.
