A Birthday Card

Here is a birthday card that I made using this adorable Magnolia stamp called Tilda With Eggs In Her Apron. This is the first time that I have used this stamp. But I was trying to figure out how to use it but not make an Easter card. So it finally hit me to take these little paper flowers and add them to the image to cover the eggs. So instead of holding eggs Tilda is holding flowers. Perfect solution. I added white pearls to the center of the flowers. (Sorry they don't look white in this picture. My photo came out a little darker in this photo than it actually is in real life.)

I made this card for the following challenges:

Magnolia Down Under: Flowers

Ooh La La: Blog Inspiration (thier blog is gorgeous by the way!!)

One Stitch At A Time: Use Something New (Stamp)

Sweet Sunday Sketch: Sketch

Aimee's Challenge: Something For A Girl

Card Recipe:

Image: Magnolia Tilda With Eggs In Her Apron Stamp

Paper: ANW Crestwood Pastel Pink Cardstock, White Cardstock, Bazzill Basics Pollen Cardstock, Light Purple Cardstock

Embellishments: Oriental Trading Company Mini Paper Flowers, White Pearls

Tools: Martha Stewart Doily Lace Edge Punch, Fiskars Oval Template

Other: Crayola Colored Pencils, EK Success Colored Pencils, Nicole Crafts Colored Pencils

Hi Mary thanks for playing with us this fortnight over at Aimee's challenges! Aimee really loves the flowers in her skirt and wonders why we don't have that border punch on our shelf... i think she likes that too! hehe xx
