Birthday Card

This is the 2nd card that I made for the "happy birthday daughter" card I was asked to make. This was the one that she picked out of the two cards. She said that her daughter's favorite flowers are sunflowers. And that was the reason she picked this one.

The challenge this week at Fab n Funky was to use something new. This image is a stamp that I picked up just a couple weeks ago and this was the first time that I have used it. The flower center is a corduroy brad that I received from a blog candy win and I've been holding onto it for just the right project. I am also entering this card into this week's challenge at Stampin' Sisters in Christ. The challenge was to use a peaceful image or a verse about peace. This was the most peaceful image that I own. So I knew that I had to use it for this challenge.

Card Recipe:
Image: Inkadinkado Stamp
Paper: DCWV Mariposa Cardstock Stack ~ Light Brown, DCWV Textured Pastels Cardstock Stack ~ Light Blue
Embellishments: Brown Corduroy Brad, Small Orange Fabric Flower, Large Orange Fabric Flower
Other: EK Success Colored Pencils, Crayola Colored Pencils, Pebbles Inc Chalk
