Sneaky Tilda

This month at Magnolia-licious Highlites the challenge is to take a holiday stamp and create 2 projects for different occasions.  I created a birthday card and a Christmas tag using Sneaky Tilda from Magnolia's Merry Little Christmas 2010 stamp release.

Both images were colored using crayola and prisma colored pencils.

I created the birthday card using 2 shades of blue card stock.  I punched a border onto a trip of white card stock using an eyelet lace border punch.  I stamped the sentiment directly onto the card. I added a blue ribbon, white and light blue paper flower and blue pearls to finish off the card.

I am also entering the card into the following challenges:

Oldie But A Goodie: Ribbon  (6+ month item ~ stamp)

Dream Valley Challenges: Celebrations

Stamptacular Sunday: Less Is More

To create the Christmas tag I cut the tag shape out of kraft card stock and punched the bottom edge using the same eyelet lace border punch that I used on the card.  I cut a strip of christmas plaid patterned paper and backed it in red card stock.  I aded a sparkly gold ribbon and red baker's twine.  I added it to the middle of the tag. I cut the image completely out and added pop dots to it to add dimension to the tag.  I stamped the sentiment onto kraft card stock and backed it in red card stock and added it at an angle under the bow.  I punched a hole in the top and added a piece of red baker's twine.

I am also entering the tag into the following challenges:

Paper Play: Choose A Holiday

Digi Doodle Shops Best: Anything Goes
