Just a quick post from me this morning as we are getting ready to host a 4th of July BBQ here at our house. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that the weather will actually hold off. We have had gorgeous sunny weather for the past few days and of course today it's overcast and suppose to rain!! Anyway I want to wish everyone in the USA a safe and happy Independence Day!
Today is the last Wednesday inspiration post for our current design team over at 2 Sisters. This week's challenge is Red, White and Blue with the optional extra of glitter/bling. There are 5 sponsors this week so there are 5 chances to win.
Here is the card I created using an image from one of our sponsors. . . . Meljens.
I started with a red card base. I embossed a piece of white card stock using a dot embossing folder and then backed it in blue and white and added it to the card base. I colored the image, Eagle, using crayola and prisma colored pencils. I stamped the sentiment, CELEBRATE, onto white card stock. Then I backed bothe the image and the sentiment in blue, white and red card stock. I added blue, red and gold glitter to the image.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
