Love Is....

I made this card using this love is sentiment stamp. I'm not sure what company the stamp is from. The verse is...
Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking
It is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil,
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
~ 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

I made this card as an anniversary card but it would also work as a wedding or valentine's day card. The base of my card is white. I embossed a smaller piece of cardstock using a cuttlebug embossing folder (swirls) and backed it in black. I also backed the image in black. I added a piece of black velvet ribbon across the embossed piece just under the verse. I punched butterflies out of lavender cardstock and added one to the upper right corner of the verse and one to the left side of the ribbon. I added lavender rhinestones to the butterflies and to the bottom right corner of the card. I am entering this card into the following challenges:

2 Sisters Challenge ~ Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Good morning! Our challenge this week at 2 Sisters is to create a card/project using the theme:

GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN

Our sponsor this week is Sassy Studio Designs!!! Lindsay gave the DT two amazing images to play with from her new release. I just had to make a card with both of them. The first card I made features Hippie Chic. I colored the image using crayola and prisma colored pencils. For the base of my card I used a pink cardstock from Bazzill Basics called passionate. I took a piece of bright green cardstock and embossed it using a cuttlebug embossing folder (dots). Then for the strip across the bottom of my card I stamped bright green and pink flowers to create my own patterned paper. I added a bright green ribbon to the left side of the patterned paper and then added a large dark pink paper daisy to the right side. I backed the image in passionate and then again in white and added it ontop of the green embossed cardstock and the large pink flower. I added a bright green paper daisy to the top left corner of the image and another to the bottom right corner ontop of the large pink daisy. The green daisies look yellow but they are actually green. I added a bright pink rhinestone to the center of each flower. I backed my birthday sentiment in bright green and added it to the card so it was partly on the image.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Fresh Brewed: Photo Inspiration

Inky Impressions: Emboss It

Fab N Funky: Digi

Moving Along With The Times: Spring

Paper Play: Layer It Up

The Crafty Pad: Something Girly

Top Tip Tuesday: Fabulous Flowers

Everybody Art: My Favorite Things (embossing, pink, flowers, rhinestones)

For my second card I am showcasing the image GoGo Girl 2. I colored the image using crayola & prisma colored pencils. I used chestnut for the base of my card. I used an aqua stripe patterned paper across the bottom of the card and backed it in white cardstock. I added a light aqua ribbon across the striped paper. I backed the image in a cardstock from Coredinations called deep lagoon. I punched daisies out of the deep lagoon and added two to the ribbon on the left side of the image and one to the right side of the image and added a white pearl to the center of each one. I added three white pearls to the upper left corner. I knotted a piece of light aqua ribbon and added it to the upper right corner of the image. I backed the birthday sentiment in deep lagoon and added it on the left side of the image.
