2 Sisters Challenge ~ BINGO

This week at 2 Sisters we have a BINGO card challenge. You have your choice of any 3 that you want to do off the bingo card but like bingo theymust be in a row Everone that enters will have a chance to win some goodies from Robyn's Fetish. But in addition to the that prize anyone who enteres a card/project using all 9 bingo squares will have a chance to win some goodie from Pizzazz Aplenty.

For my card I used all 9 bingo squares. The base of my card is pastel yellow backed in sugar n spice (pink). I embossed a strip of pastel purple using a cuttlebug embossing folder (swirls). I added a border to the top and bottom of the strip of embossed cardstock. I punched the border out using an eyelet lace border punch and added a piece of light blue ribbon at the top and bottom of the purple cardstock. I colored the image (Easter Girl from Robyn's Fetish) using crayola and prisma colored pencils. I backed both the image and the sentiment in sugar n spice. I added a pink paper flower and a yellow paper flower. In the center of each flower I added a 6mm white heart pearl. I also added 3 of the white heart pearls to the bottom of the card. I added crystal stickles to the edges of the paper flowers, the center of the flowers on the image and to her wings.

Happy Birthday Stacy

Today is my sister Stacy's birthday. This is the birthday card I made for her using Beary Big Hugs from Belles N Whistles. I used the sketch from this week's challenge at The Sweet Stop. I decided to change the sketch a little by tilting the image and adding the sentiment to the bottom of the card instead of beside the image. The base of my card is sugar n spice (pink) backed in black. I added a block of pink and white stripped paper and a block of pink and white dotted paper both backed in black. I colored the image using crayola and prisma colore pencils. I backed the image in sugar n spice and then again in black. Then punched the edge of the black behind the image using an eyelet lace border punch. I added black pearls to the corners of the image. I added stickles to the shoes, bear's bow, hair bow and to the headband on the image. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado. I backed the sentiment in black and added a white heart pearl with a black pearl on either side. I added three white heart pearls to the upper corner of the card. To create the flower I layered four sheer pink fabric flowers and added crystal stickles to the edges and to the center and added a black pearl to the center. 2 Sisters Challenge ~ Spring

Sorry this post is a few days late. We've been having internet issues this week. Thankfully everything is fixed now and I can catch up with some posting. This week at 2 Sisters the challenge is to create a card/project using the theme SPRING. We are being sponsored this week by Patties Creations. Pattie was very generous to give the design team a couple images to play with. The image that I used on my card is called Three Birdhouses. A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes

I used Cake Topper Kiss digital stamp from The Greeting Farm to create this wedding/anniversary card. The sentiment I used is a freebie I grabbed a while ago from Tattered Angels. I thought it was a perfectly matched to this image. I started off the base of my card by embossing a piece of white cardstock using a cuttlebug embossing folder (dots). I then distressed the edges of it using a pastel pink chalk ink pad. I backed it in kraft cardstock and then again in dark brown cardstock. I colored the image using crayola and prisma colored pencils. I then repeated what I did on the background (with the exception of the embossing) to the image and the sentiment. I added a piece of green ribbon behind the image across the base of the card. I added this fabric flower to the middle of the card where the image and sentiment meet. The flower is actually a stemmed flower that I purchased at AC Moore a while ago. I removed the stem and all the plastic pieces so that the flower would lay flat on the card. In order to keep the flower from falling apart I added glue dots to each layer as I pieced it back together. To finish off the flower I added a pink sprinkle (from Annabelle Stamps) to the center. I also added 6mm white heart pearls (from Annabelle Stamps) to the upper corner of the card and image and to the bottom corner of the sentiment.

I use Giving Bear from Di's Digi Downloads to create this Mother's Day card. The sketch that I used is from this week's challenge at Sketch & Stash. The new stash that I used is the green

sprinkles from Annabelle Stamps. The neglected stash that I used is my cricut machine. I created that cute little flower with it using the Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge. I colored the image using crayola colored pencils which is perfect for the markers down challenge at There She Goes Clear Stamps. For the pastels challenge at Colour Create I used the colors berry blush, spring breeze, vibrant blue and pastel yellow.
