Hi all! I'm back with yet another card that I created for this week's blogoversary challenge over at 2 Sisters. To see my first card please scroll down one post. I used another image from the Digi Doodle Shop. This one is called Ridem Cowboy.
I started with a navy bue card base. I added a piece of striped patterned paper that I backed in white card stock. I cut a strip of red star patterned paper and added it alon the bottom of the card. At the top of that I added a piece of sand colored baker's twine. I colored the image using crayola and prisma colored pencils. I punched 3 stars out of red card stock and added to the top corner of the image. I backed it in navy blue and then again in white card stock. I stamped te sentiment on white card stock and then backed it in navy blue and then again in white. I added it to the top corner of the card.

I created this card using Ridem Cowgirl from Digi Doodle Shop. I started with a red card base and added a piece of white card stock cut just a little smaller than the base. I cut a piece of blue star patterned paper and added it to the top of the card. Next I cut a piece of royal card stock and backed it in white. I added it with a small tilt to the blue star paper. I added a piece of red dotted ribbon across the middle of the card. I colored the image using crayola and prisma colored pencils. I stamped the sentiment beside the image. I backed it in red card stock and then again in white. I added that on top of the royal card stock tilted the opposite direction. I added 5 mini red rhinestones under the sentiment and 3 mini clear rhinestones below the image. I added a red and silver star sticker to the upper corner of the image and added a mini clear rhinestone to the center. To the bottom of the card I added 3 red and silver star stickers and added a mini clear rhinestone to the center of each one. I also added red glitter to her boots and to the red strip on her hat.

Red, White & Blue Birthday
I created this birthday card today using Boobie Love from Saturated Canary. The sketch I used is from this week's challenge at Papertake Weekly. I rotated the sketch.
I started with a dark red card base. I added a piece of striped card stock that I backed in white. I cut a strip of navy blue dotted patterned paper and backed it in white. Then I added it to strip of dark red card stock and then backed that in white. I added that across the middle of the card. I cut a strip of red star patterned paper and backed it in white. I cut using scallop scissors along one of the edges and added it going down one side of the card.
I colored the image using crayola and prisma colored pencils. I wanted to use the image without the ribbon showing on the shirt. So how I did this was that I colored the shirt completely in navy blue and then punched a tiny white star and added it to the center top of the shirt. I cut the image out in an oval and backed it in dark red and then again in white. I cut around the white using scallop scissors. I added foam squares and added it to the center of the card.
I punched 3 mini hearts out of dark red and added them to the side of the image. I added a white flower to the top corner of the image and 3 more at the bottom corner. I added a burgundy pearl to the center of each flower. I added 3 white pearls to the top corner of the card. Then I stamped the sentiment onto white card stock and backed it in dark red and then again in white and added it onto the strip of star paper. I added crystal stickles to the 2 smaller white stripes on the background paper, the dots on the navy blue strip, the white edges on top and bottom of the navy blue strip and to the star on her shirt.

Happy Birthday Thomas!!!
Today my oldest turned 14!!!! We celebrated his birthday with family and friends yesterday. Here is a picture of him from his party showing off one of his gifts.....
I created this birthday card for him. (of course he picked up on the fact that I used the same image last year....ooops!!! Just one of those things that I didn't realize I had done until it was too late.) The image I used is from Mo's Digital Pencil and is called Video Boy.

Tilda With Cherry Basket
I recently won a Magnolia mystery prize from a challenge I won at Midweek Magnolias. It finally arrived in the mail yesterday. And what a surprise it was..... 5 mini Magnolia stamps and 2 Doohickey Dies!!! So I've only ever used the regular sized Magnolia stamps. It definitely was different working with these little cuties. So anyway here is my first creation using a Magnolia Mini.
The sketch I used is from this week's challenge at Deconstructed Sketches:

Baby Shower Invites
I created these baby shower invitations for a baby shower that was just given to a close friend. She will be welcoming her very first child (a son) into the world this Friday.
I created the invitations using a baby looney tunes image I found online.
I made a total of 70 invitations using 5 different colors:
Blue, Green, Pink, Yellow and Purple
I started with a card base of on of the colors listed above. I cut and embossed a piece of white card stock just a little smaller than the card base.
I backed the image and sentiment in the coordinating card base color and added them to the card. Just a plain and simple invitation.
I am entering these invitations in the following challenges:
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge: Anything Goes
Sentimental Sundays: Show Me Your Spots
Simon Says Stamp & Show: Texture
Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes
Bunny Zoe Crafts: Anything Goes
