Tilda With Bike ~ Tri Shutter Card

This is my very first attempt at creating a tri shutter card.  It took me a few minutes to get the folding just right.  I think the hardest part was actually when I went to take a photo of the card and couldn't get it to stay closed.  So you can tell by my first photo that it's not actually laying as flat as I would have liked it to be for the photo.

This next photo is of my card laying completely open.  The colors I used are lily pond, rose, light pink and white.   The butterflies are punched out of lily pond and light pink card stock. There is embossing on the squares of white card stock behind the image and behind the pink butterfly.

I colored the image, Tilda With Bike, using crayola and prisma color pencils.  I cut it out in an oval, backed it in rose card stock and then cut around it with scallop scissors. Here is an upclose view of the image....

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Celebrate Easter

I created this Easter card using Tilda With Eggs from Magnolia Stamps. I used this week's sketch from The Sweet Stop.  The spin was to use the color green. I started with a card base of lily pond
green.  I added a piece of white card stock cut just a little smaller than the base of the card.  I punched a piece of lily pond card stock using an eyelet lace border punch.  I punched a piece of vineyard card stock using the eyelet lace border punch and added it to the bottom of the green.  I added a purple dotted ribbon just above the punched area. I cut a square piece of pastel purple card stock and backed it in white and added it to the left side of the card.  I colored the image in crayola and prisma color pencils and backed it in vineyard card stock.   I added it to the left side of the card.  I stamped the sentiment "CELEBRATE EASTER" onto the lily pond cardstock beside the image and above the ribbon.  I layered 2 purple paper flowers and added a grass green rhinestone to the center and added it to the bottom corner of the image.  I added a butterfly cut out of the lily pond card stock, and added 3 purple rhinestones and added it just above the flowers.   I added a pastel purple butterfly with 3 grass green rhinestones above the sentiment.  I added 3 grass green rhinestones to the pastel purple card stock and 3 purple rhinestones to the bottom corner of the card.
I am also entering this card into the following challenges:

I created this birthday card for a friend at church.  The image I used is called THEODORE and is from Bugaboo Stamps. I started with a black card base and added a piece of red card stock just slightly smaller than the base.  The strip of dotted card stock across the center of the card was created by using an eraser on the back of a pencil dipped in black ink and added randomly to a piece of red card stock. I backed it in black card stock and added a black ribbon across the center of it.  I then added a piece of red card stock that I backed in black card stock.  The image is colored using crayola and prisma color pencils. I backed the image in black card stock.  I finished the card by adding 3 gray flowers.  I addded white pearls in the center of each flower and up in the corner of the square.  I also added a lady bug button onto 2 of the flowers.

Here is my next card as a guest designer at Creative Stamp Friends.  This week's challenge is to create a card/project using the following sketch.
I began with a light brown card base. I cut a piece of striped card stock just a little smaller than the base.  I backed the striped card stock in light aqua card stock.  I added a square of dotted card stock that I rounded the corners and backed in dark aqua pearlescent card stock.  Then I added another square of light aqua card stock that I punched the corners using a fancy scallop corner punch and backed it in dark aqua pearlescent card stock.  I cut a square of large floral card stock and backed it in the dark aqua pearlescent card stock and added it to the center of the card. The image I used is Longing Tilda from Magnolia Stamps. I colored it using crayola and prisma color pencils and cut the image out in a circle.  I backed it in light aqua card stock and then again in dark aqua pearlescent card stock and cut around it using scallop scissors.  Then added it to the center of the floral card stock.  I added a aqua dot paper flower to the center of a white paper flower. I added a brown pearl to the center and added it to the upper corner of the image.  I backed the sentiment in dark aqua pearlescent card stock and added it to the bottom corner.  I finished off the card by adding 3 brown pearls to the upper corner.
