Christmas Card Challenge Guest Designer ~ Sketch Challenge

A few months ago I was asked to be a guest designer on the Christmas Card Challenge blog. I was so excited and of course I said yes I would love to be a guest designer. The challenge this week is a sketch challenge. Sparkles was very sweet and sent me a stamp to use. This is Holiday Emily. Isn't she cute!?!? I had so much fun coloring in this image.

I added a little bit of glitter to the flowers (my attempt at handmade poinsettas) and to several areas of the image. The embossing is done using a cuttlebug embossing folder (dots).

I want to say a big thank you to Sparkles and the girls over at the Christmas Card Challenge blog for having me be a part of their design team this week.

Baby Boy's 1st Christmas Card

I made this baby's first Christmas card using this adorable image from Karen's Doodles called Baby's First Taste Of Snow. The sketch that I used is from this week's challenge at Fussy & Fancy. I punched across the white strip of cardstock with a snowflake border punch and then used the snowflakes around the image. I punched 2 large snowflakes out of white cardstock and then 2 smaller snowflakes out of blue cardstock. I added the blue snowflakes to the white snowflakes. Then I covered all the snowflakes in stickles crystal glitter glue and blue gemstones. I added more glitter to the edges of the ribbon, around the sentiment and to the snow on the image.
