Tutu Sweet

Here is another birthday card that I created. The image I used is Tutu Sweet from Meljens.

I started with a green card base. I added a piece of white card stock cut just a little smaller than the base.  To the top of the white I added a white washed green card stock and to the bottom I added a piece of pink plaid paper.  I added a white satin ribbon across the middle where the 2 papers meet.  I colored the image using crayola and prisma colored pencils.  I backed the image in green and then again in white. I stamped the sentiment on white card stock and backed it in green.  I made a bow out of the same white satin ribbon and added it just below the sentiment.  I added crystal stickles and kunzite glitter glue to the image.  I added pink rhinestones to the upper corner of the card and 3 grass green rhinestones to the bottom corner.

Good morning! Here is my 2 Sisters DT card using TUTU SWEET from Meljens for this week's SPOTS N DOTS challenge.

I started with a blue bell card base.  I added a piece of tan card stock to the top half and dotted patterned card stock to the bottom half. I added a piece of blue bell card stock in the middle. I added a piece of turquoise ribbon across the middle.  I colored the image using crayola and prisma color pencils.  I backed the image in blue bell card stock and then again in the dotted patterned card stock.  I stamped the sentiment on white card stock and backed it in blue bell card stock.  I added 2 blue paper daisies to the side of the ribbon.  I punched 2 daisies out of the dotted card stock and added it to the center of the blue daisies.  I added out to sea rhinestones to the center of the flower, along the ribbon and to the upper corner of the card.  I added feldspar glitter glue around the sentiment, image and to the dots on the image.

Monkey Toes

I created this card as more inspiration for our embossing challenge at 2 Sisters.  I used this cute monkey image from Meljens called Monkey Toes.

I started with a kraft base.  I embossed a piece of pink card stock using a dot embossing folder. I punched a strip of kraft card stock with an eyelet lace border punch. I added a sheer pink dot ribbon to it and added it across the middle of the card.  I colored the image using crayola and prisma color pencils.  Then cut the image and sentiment out in a circle, backed them both in pink and then in white.  Then cut around them with scalloped scissors.  I added a pink dot button and a bow made out of the same sheer dot ribbon. I added a pink rhinestone to the top corners of the punched strip.  Then I added mini pink rhinestones to the image and to the sentiment.
