In The Manger

I created this Christmas card using this week's sketch challenge at Papertake Weekly. The base of my card is kraft card stock.  I added a piece of brandy card stock cut just a little smaller than the base.  I cut a piece of blue lightning card stock for across the bottom of the card.  Then cut a piece of plaid patterned paper from DCWV's the guy stack.  I backed it in kraft and added it to the center of the card. I added a piece of chocolate brown ribbon across the bottom of the card.  I colored In The Manger using crayola and prisma colored pencils.  You can purchase this image at Mo's Digital Pencil.  I backed the image in lightning blue and then again in kraft.  I stamped the sentiment on white and backed it in brandy and then again in kraft.  I punched stars out of kraft and added gold stickles to them.  To finish the card I added 3 dark rose pearls to the upper corner.

Shall I Play For You?

I can't believe it's already December 1st!! Boy this year sure went by fast! I didn't get anything crafty done today because my hubby and I decided to go get some much needed Christmas shopping done.
So this card is one that I created a couple days ago.

I used Shall I Play For You from Mo's Digital Pencil.

The base of my card is blush red.  I cut a piece of sapphire distressed card stock and backed it in tan before adding it to the card base.  I cut a piece of red music patterned paper and backd it in tan.  I added it to the left side with a slight tilt.  I colored the image using crayola and prisma colored pencils. I backed it in sapphire distressed and then again in tan and added it on top of the music paper slightly tilting the opposite way.  I stamped the sentiment on white card stock and backed it in blush red and then again in tan and added it to the bottom right side of the card with a slight tilt.  I added a tan star button to the sentiment and a tan star and a dark blue star buttons to the upper corner of the image.
