Stamps and Smiles Stamp Release Day #4 Challenge

Today is day 4 of the Stamp and Smiles Stamp Release Week. Here is the sketch challenge for today:

Here is my finished card. It's hard to tell in this picture but the color combination that I used was light blue and purple. To add a little sparkle to the card I added glitter to the snowflakes and purple gems to the center of each snowflake.

A Blog Hop And A Challenge

Stamp and Smiles will be having a blog hop and release party this Friday, October 9th from 8-9:30 pm. This is part of the week long celebration of the Fall/Winter stamp release. 5 new stamp sets! 1 Fall and 4 Winter.

There are 4 challenges that have been posted this week. Monday - Thursday. You have until Friday, Oct 9th, 12 pm CST to enter all 4 challenges for a chance to win some stamps. The first challenge is a color challenge.

I thought that the colors were perfect for a Thanksgiving card. The stamps used are Studio G stamps. The colors were not picked up very good in this picture of my card. The two darker strips of paper are actually suppose to be the ruby red color (well, I used more of a burgundy than red) and it is showing up brown in this picture. But I really liked how the card turned out and I hope you do too. Here it is:

Little Paper Shop Challenge

Little Paper Shop is issuing their Monday challenge a few days early to celebrate World Cardmaking Day. The challenge is to create a card, layout or altered item using non-traditional Christmas colors. So I chose to make a card using the color pink.
