Here is another card that I made for the Stamping Sisters In Christ challenge blog. The challenge this week was to create thinking of you or praying for you cards. The challenges are open to make as many cards as you would like to make for the challenge. So since I had so much fun creating the last one for this challenge I decided to make one more. You can see my other card here.

Think Ink Tuesday Challenge

The challenge this week for the Think Ink Tuesday challenge over at Artful Inkables was to create a project using something that sparkles. I bought this stamp a few years ago and haven't used it in a while. So I decided to pull it out tonight and play with it. The paper looks almost black in this picture but it is actually hunter green. I added frosted lace stickles to the tree to give the snow sparkle.

Glitter: Stickles ~ Frosted Lace

Ink: Whispers Ink ~ Sugarloaf Green

Paper: White Cardstock & Hunter Green Cardstock

Thinking of You

October 2, 2009

This card is a double challenge card. Stamping Sisters In Christ & Paper Play Challenges.

The challenge this week at Stamping Sisters In Christ is to make a card letting someone know that you are thinking of them or praying for them. I just found this blog this week and instantly wanted to join in on all the fun that they were having. What a great blog and a great ministry they have going on. Such beautiful cards created by the DT.

The inspiration verse for this week at Stampin Sisters In Christ is:

Psalm 19:14: Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in your sight Oh, Lord, my strength and my redeemer.

The challenge this week at Paper Play Challenges was to create a project using the theme Pale and Interesting. The task was to use mostly white and accent with just one color. So I chose light purple to go along with the white. This is another great challenge blog with beautiful projects created by the DT.

If you haven't already checked out their blogs, please take a moment to go look and see the beautiful projects that they put together.

Now for my card:

I received candy that I won from Pamela of Pamela's World of Scrap in the mail yesterday. A butterfly stamp set from Unity Stamps! I instantly knew that this is what I wanted to use to create this card with.

So here's my card:

Butterfly Image: Unity Stamp Company

Sentiment: Unity Stamp Company

Embossing: Fiskars Texture Plate (Dots)

Gems: Purple

Ink: Whispers Ink Pad ~ Whispers Lilac

Card: Best Occasions White Notecard

Hope you liked my card. Don't forget to head on over to Paper Play Challenges and Stamping Sisters In Christ and check out their awesome blogs!!
