White On White Birthday

This week the challenge at Karen's Doodles United States is to create a white on white card. This means no color except on your image. This sounded so fun to me and I couldn't wait to do it. But when I sat down and began to work on my card it was actually not as easy as I thought it would be. To help the layers of white to pop I did a little embossing. The sketch that I used is from Simon Says Stamp.

In addition to the challenges listed above I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Stamp, Scrap & Doodle: Digital Image

Handfull of Stamps: Punches

Annabelle Stamps: Embossing

Stamp Something: Something Flowery

Create 4 Fun: Flowers

The Crazy Challenge: Birthdays

Ooh La La: Birthdays

Cowgirls Sunday Stampen: Anything Goes

Creative Inspiration: Anything Goes

Craftalicious: Birthdays

Wild Orchid Challenge: Lovely Lace

Rosie D's: All Creatures Great & Small

Practical Scrappers: 7 Or More Different Items (image, cardstock, pearls, bows, lace, flowers, sentiment, border, embossing)

Card Recipe:
Image: Karen's Doodles Puppy And Her Bone Digital Stamp
Paper: White Cardstock
Embellishments: White Lace, White Satin Bows, Queen & Company Snowflake Pearls
Tools: Fiskars Texture Plate ~ Dots, Fiskars Texture Plate ~ Swirls, Martha Stewart Lace Heart Border Punch, EK Success Daisy Punch, EK Success Mini Daisy Punch
